Overview

This article explains the upcoming change that moves Parcelforce services into your Royal Mail integration in StoreFeeder, effective 11 August 2025.

What is changing

From 11 August 2025, Parcelforce services no longer require a separate integration in StoreFeeder. They will be available directly through your existing Royal Mail integration, once Royal Mail activates Parcelforce services on your Royal Mail OBA account.

No action is required from you right now. The change depends on two steps that Royal Mail and Parcelforce control:

  1. Royal Mail/Parcelforce activating the change on their end.
  2. Royal Mail activating Parcelforce services on your specific Royal Mail OBA account.

What you will need to do once the change is live

1. Add new shipping methods

  • Log into StoreFeeder.
  • Open your Royal Mail integration settings.
  • Add new shipping methods for the Parcelforce services that now appear.

2. Update your shipping rules

Adjust your existing shipping rules to use the newly created Parcelforce methods so that orders are despatched on the correct services.

3. Remove the old Parcelforce integration (optional)

Once you have set up shipping methods via the Royal Mail integration, you can remove the standalone Parcelforce integration if you no longer need it.

What stays the same

The existing Parcelforce integration and shipping methods continue to work during the transition period, so you do not need to act immediately. You can create the new shipping methods alongside the old ones before switching over.

After transitioning to Parcelforce through Royal Mail, you will need to manifest your Parcelforce shipments in StoreFeeder. Refer to the How to Manifest your Pickwaves article for instructions.
