This guide covers the Royal Mail services available for shipments to the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, and the customs requirements that apply to those destinations.

Not all Royal Mail services are available for the Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Refer to the table below for the supported options.

Customs and delivery notes
Customs declaration forms
Customers sending gifts or goods to the Channel Islands must attach a customs declaration form to the parcel. Letters and parcels containing only documents are exempt.
- For items valued up to £270, use customs declaration form CN22.
- For items valued over £270, use customs declaration form CN23. Attach it using the plastic wallet available from Post Office branches.
Delivery times
Deliveries to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man may be subject to delays due to customs checks. Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm to Jersey and the Isle of Man is guaranteed by 5.30pm within two working days.
Consequential loss
Consequential loss cover is not available for items going to the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.
Saturday delivery
Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed Saturday is available for a small surcharge from UK Post Office branches. Check the Royal Mail website for details and restrictions.
