Error: Unable to retrieve label from remote storage

Overview

This article explains why you may see an error when trying to print labels from older orders.

Cause

StoreFeeder purges labels to comply with GDPR requirements:

• Most orders: labels are deleted after 60 days.
• Amazon orders: labels are deleted after 30 days.

If you have configured Data Retention settings under Settings > Data Management, labels may be removed earlier than the defaults.

Solution

If you need to reprint a label for an order whose label has been purged, you must regenerate the label by reprocessing the order. Contact StoreFeeder support if you need assistance recovering an old order.
