Overview

Tesco Marketplace now operates on Mirakl. This guide explains how to connect your Mirakl (Tesco) account to StoreFeeder and start managing listings, stock, and pricing.

Before you begin

Tesco should have already:

  • Set up a Mirakl account for your store
  • Migrated your product data into the Mirakl catalogue
  • Provided basic training on the difference between Products and Offers

If you have not received Mirakl login details, contact Tesco Support directly.

After logging in to Mirakl, check the top-left corner of the dashboard. It should say Tesco Production. If it shows "Sandbox" or "Test", contact Tesco to confirm you are in the live environment.

Ensure your Mirakl user has Owner or Manager role permissions, as these are required for API integrations.

Connecting Tesco (Mirakl) to StoreFeeder

Step 1. Generate an API Key in Mirakl

  1. Select your initials in the top-right corner of Mirakl.
  2. Select Personal Settings.
  3. Navigate to API Key.
  4. Select Generate a New API Key.

  1. Copy the generated key — you will need it for StoreFeeder.

Important: The API key is tied to your user account. If that user is disabled or their permissions change, the integration may stop working.

Step 2. Add the Mirakl integration in StoreFeeder

  1. Go to Settings > Integration Manager.
  2. Select + New Integration.
  3. Choose Marketplace > Mirakl and follow the on-screen steps.

  4. In the Marketplace dropdown, select Tesco.

Understanding Products and Offers in Mirakl

Mirakl separates Products (shared catalogue entries) from Offers (your individual listings).

  • Products: Central catalogue entries shared across all sellers, containing title, description, attributes, and images.
  • Offers: Your listing that defines price, stock quantity, and delivery details for a product.

Creating and managing offers

Creating an offer in Mirakl

  1. Go to Price & Stock in Mirakl.
  2. Search for an existing product in the catalogue.
  3. Select it and enter your price, stock, and offer details.
  4. Save the offer.

Important: Offers inside Mirakl will be "Pending" until 15th October. To download these pending listings in order to map them ready for the 15th, toggle the following setting to ON and select Save:

Note: Due to a known display issue, this setting appears as "OFF" if you return to the page after saving. Set it to ON and select Save — listings will come through to the StoreFeeder listings page as expected.

Bulk offer creation

Use the File Import feature in Mirakl. Download the Offer Import Templates from that page, complete them with your product and offer data, then upload them back to Mirakl. Tesco can advise on the best approach for bulk creation.

Creating new products

To sell a product not yet in Tesco's catalogue, select Create New Product when creating an offer instead of choosing an existing catalogue item. Provide the required product information — Tesco reviews the submission and, once approved, adds the product to the catalogue.

Managing offers from StoreFeeder

Once the integration is connected, StoreFeeder can:

  • Download offers from Mirakl
  • Allow you to map offers to your StoreFeeder products for inventory control
  • Create new offers in Tesco directly (if Listing Upload is enabled)
  • Update price and stock automatically

Troubleshooting

  • Mirakl login problems, offer creation, or catalogue issues: Contact Tesco Support.
  • Integration connection errors or listing download problems: Contact StoreFeeder Support.
