eBay Refunds
Overview
This guide explains how to process eBay refunds directly from StoreFeeder without logging into eBay.
Note: The eBay refunds feature is an account-level feature. Contact StoreFeeder support to have it enabled on your account.
Note: Currently, only orders in a status indicating the order has been despatched or delivered are eligible for refunds. Support for open orders is planned for a future release.
Before you begin
Enable Managed Payments on eBay
You need Managed Payments enabled on your eBay account. Refer to eBay's help guide for instructions.
Connect both eBay APIs in StoreFeeder
Open your eBay integration in StoreFeeder. Two sections allow you to connect your eBay account — connect both of them.
Once both connections are active, the Managed Payments toggle on your eBay integration turns on automatically. If it does not turn on immediately, eBay may not have activated Managed Payments on your account yet.
Processing a refund
Step 1. Open the order
Find the order in the Manage Orders grid and open it for editing.
Step 2. Open Channel Refunds
On the Edit Order page, select Channel Refunds from the left-hand menu.
Note: If the Channel Refunds tab does not appear, the most likely reason is that the order has not yet been despatched (for example, it is in a "Complete (Ready to Pick)" status).
Step 3. Create a refund
The Channel Refunds page summarises any existing refund activity for the order. Select + Create Refund to open the refund window.
Use the checkboxes to select the order lines you want to refund, or enter an amount in the Order Level Refund section.
Tip: Use the Order Level Refund section to refund the shipping amount when refunding by order line.
Select Refund in the bottom right of the window to process the refund.
