Setting a display order for your Variant Attributes

Overview

This article explains how to control the order in which variant attributes display on a channel.

Setting attribute display order

1. Go to the integration you want to update.
2. Select the View Variant Attribute tab.

The first screen shows the variant attributes for that channel and how many listings use each one.

You can also set the order attributes appear in drop-down lists within StoreFeeder. If you use certain attributes more frequently, setting a higher display order saves time.

1. To set the channel order for a specific attribute, select View next to it.

Attributes from the channel do not always arrive in the correct order. (On Amazon, ordering is handled by Amazon and cannot be overridden.)

1. Change the Display Order number to rearrange attributes. Setting a display order of 1 against an attribute moves it to the top; all others shift down accordingly.

Note: Display order is particularly important for channels like eBay, where incorrect ordering can confuse buyers.
