I have the Amazon Repricer enabled on my listing, why is it not repricing?

Overview

This article explains the two most common reasons the Amazon Repricer does not update a listing price even when it is enabled and your minimum price is lower than competing sellers.

Cause

1. No price-change notification was generated

StoreFeeder's Amazon Repricer works from Amazon price-change notifications. When a seller creates a new listing against an ASIN, Amazon does not treat this as a price change, so no notification is generated and the repricer does not trigger.

2. Corrupted Amazon notification queue

Amazon notification queues can occasionally become corrupted, causing price-change notifications to stop arriving entirely.

Solution

For cause 1: Change your listing price by 1p to generate a price-change notification. You can do this in bulk using the listing import. When creating new listings, either list lower than competing sellers from the start or manually nudge the price by 1p after creation to kick off the repricer.

For cause 2: Try the 1p adjustment first, then check back after an hour to see whether prices have updated as expected.

If prices still have not changed after an hour, contact the support team for further investigation.
