Integrating with eBay
Overview
This article walks you through integrating your eBay sales channel with StoreFeeder.
Integrating eBay with StoreFeeder lets you:
- Create product listings
- Download your eBay orders
- Manage eBay shipping, item specifics, and store categories
- Apply an HTML listing template to your eBay listings
- Update and synchronise your eBay inventory
Step 1 - Open the Integration Manager
Sign in to StoreFeeder. If a yellow banner appears at the top of the dashboard indicating untested sales channels, select the link in the banner to open the Integration Manager.
If the banner does not appear, go to Settings > Your Integrations.
Step 2 - Open your eBay integration
On the Integration Manager page, find your eBay channel and select Edit/View Integration.
If eBay does not appear in the list, select the green + New Integration button to create one.
Step 3 - Create a new integration (skip if editing an existing one)
If creating a new integration, select the appropriate options on the setup screens.
Enter a name for the integration, select your eBay country, and choose whether to extend permissions to all users on your account. Select + Add Integration to continue.
Warning: Leave the pre-set settings on the Integration Details page as they are. The integration defaults to Test mode so the connection can be verified before going live.
Step 4 - Link your eBay account
To connect StoreFeeder to your eBay account you need to link both the old and new eBay APIs. Select both Link my eBay account to StoreFeeder links shown below (you can link them one at a time).
Info: Both API links are currently required for full functionality. StoreFeeder is transitioning to using only the new API, but for now both must be connected.
Step 5 - Authorise StoreFeeder on eBay
A new eBay page opens in your browser. Enter your eBay credentials and sign in. Review the permissions requested, then select I Agree to grant StoreFeeder access.
Step 6 - Save your PayPal email
Enter the email address associated with the PayPal account you use on eBay in the PayPal Email field, then select Save.
Your eBay account is now integrated with StoreFeeder.
Info: For a first-time eBay integration, it can take up to 90 minutes for listings and orders to appear. If you are still waiting after 2 hours, contact support.
