Linking to the eBay Catalogue

Overview

This article explains how to link your eBay listings to the eBay Catalogue, which updates the listing title and EAN to match the selected catalogue product.

Before you begin

Connect your integration to the new eBay API using the Link your eBay account (new API) section on the integration settings page.

Linking to the eBay Catalogue

Once connected, the listings page shows a Link to Catalog Product button in the top right.

1. Select Link to Catalog Product to open the search dialogue.
2. Search by product title, GTIN, MPN, or ePid.

1. Review the results. You can view more details via the link under the product image, or view the live eBay listing via the title link.
2. Select Select to link the product. This updates the listing title and EAN to match the catalogue entry.

Linking variants

For variation listings, the Link to Catalog option appears for each variant in the Variants tab.

If each variant has an individual identifier, you can link multiple variants to the catalogue in bulk. Hover over the eBay Catalog header and select the bulk-link button shown below.

Note: A variant is only linked if exactly one matching catalogue product is found.
