Overview

This article describes the eBay-specific integration settings available in StoreFeeder and explains what each one does.

eBay-specific settings

Import Unpaid Orders

By default, StoreFeeder only imports eBay orders where payment has already been received. If you allow delayed payments on eBay and want to import orders still awaiting payment (for example, to allocate stock), set Import Unpaid Orders to On.

Download Orders from All Marketplaces

If you sell on multiple eBay marketplaces (for example, ebay.fr and ebay.de) and want to treat them as a single channel in StoreFeeder, set Download Orders from All Marketplaces to On. This imports all eBay orders and listings through a single integration.

If you sell on many marketplaces or on marketplaces with different currencies, consider using parent/child relationships between your eBay integrations with the Parent Channel setting instead.

Automatic Relisting

Set to On by default. StoreFeeder relists your listings when they expire on eBay. Set to Off if you do not want expired listings relisted automatically.

Use Selling Manager

Set to On by default. Instructs StoreFeeder to use an abbreviated format for eBay order reference numbers. Set to Off if you need the full-length order reference.

PayPal Email

A mandatory field, as all eBay listings require PayPal as a payment option.

Using Business Policies

Set automatically when your account is linked. When configured, you can apply your eBay Business Policies to listings in StoreFeeder.

Description Contains Price

If your listing template references the listing price in the description, enable this setting. When On, StoreFeeder checks listing descriptions during price updates and updates any price references to match. This setting is Off by default because it may slow down pricing updates.

Download Auction Orders

StoreFeeder does not support auction listings, but if you have auction listings and want to process those orders through StoreFeeder (for example, to include them in shipping manifests), set Download Auction Orders to On. Note that auction orders will not be linked to products.

Using Markdown Manager

If you use eBay's Markdown Manager to create sales, this can conflict with listing prices in StoreFeeder. Set Using Markdown Manager to On to instruct StoreFeeder to incorporate sale prices, preventing your sale from being overridden.

Download Channel Messages

When On, StoreFeeder stores a copy of your eBay messages so you can review them without logging into eBay. View them in StoreFeeder at Settings > Messaging > Messaging Overview.

Preserve Sales

When On, listings that are part of an active sale cannot be updated except for inventory changes. The Save and Upload button is disabled on affected listings while the sale is active.

Parent Channel

For sellers using many marketplaces or marketplaces in different currencies, set up parent/child relationships between your eBay integrations. Create a separate integration for each marketplace. The marketplace you originally signed up to is the parent — set the Parent Channel field in all child integrations to the parent integration's name. Ensure the parent integration has Download Orders from All Marketplaces set to Off to avoid duplicate orders.
