Overview

This article explains how to issue full or partial refunds for Amazon orders directly from StoreFeeder.

Before you begin

The Amazon Refunds feature must be enabled on your account. Contact our support team to have it added.

Note: Only orders in a dispatched or delivered status are currently eligible for refunds.

Creating a refund

  1. Find the order in the Manage Orders grid and open it.
  2. On the Edit Order page, select Channel Refunds in the left-hand menu.

Note: If the Channel Refunds tab is not visible, the order is likely in a pre-despatch status such as Complete (Ready to Pick) and is not yet eligible.

  1. The Channel Refunds page shows any existing refund activity for this order. Select the green + Create Refund button.
  1. Use the checkboxes on the left to select which order lines to refund.
  2. Adjust the refund amount for each line and the shipping refund amount if needed. The shipping refund cannot exceed the total shipping cost for the quantity being refunded.
  3. Select Refund to submit.

Tip: A refund is marked as pending when created and can be cancelled from the Channel Refunds tab as long as it has not yet been sent to Amazon.

Once submitted, Amazon confirms the refund - this can take up to an hour. StoreFeeder marks the refund as success or fail once processed. If Amazon rejects the refund, the order status updates to Attention Required and all account admins receive a StoreFeeder message.
