StoreFeeder App - Transfers
Overview
This guide explains how to use the Transfers section of the StoreFeeder app to move stock between locations. Transfers require the Multiple Stock Locations add-on.
View Transfers
Opening View Transfers shows any pending transfers allocated to you.
Each pending transfer shows the details of what needs to move and where. Three actions are available at the bottom:
Delete the pending transfer
Edit the pending transfer
Complete the pending transfer
When you complete a transfer, stock levels in StoreFeeder update instantly.
Create Pending
In Create Pending, you set up a transfer to be carried out later.
Enter or scan a product, then specify the from location, the quantity, and the to location. You can allocate the transfer to a specific user or leave it unassigned for any user to action. Once submitted, it appears as a pending transfer in View Transfers.
Create Immediate
In Create Immediate, you record a transfer as you perform it.
Enter or scan a product, then specify the from location, the quantity, and the to location. A summary is shown — submit to complete the transfer immediately.
Tips and page features
- You can scan a product barcode or enter a SKU to find a product, or scan the stock location directly.
- When you scan a location, a Select All button appears — use this to transfer the entire contents of that location to another one.
- To move stock to a location not yet associated with the product, tap the + icon next to the stock location dropdown to associate a new location instantly.
- Be careful when moving stock to or from a Quarantined location. Moving stock to a quarantined location makes that quantity unavailable for sale; moving stock from a quarantined location makes it available for sale. The app displays a warning in both cases.
