Overview

This guide explains how to use the EPOS section of the StoreFeeder app to browse products, build a cart, and take payment.

Note: EPOS is not included in the standard StoreFeeder subscription. Contact the Sales team for a demo or trial. If EPOS is not set up yet, complete the EPOS (Setup) steps before continuing.

Initial login

The first time you use EPOS, use the three-dots menu to select the shop location you are based at. You can also use this menu to refresh products if new ones are added after you have logged in.

Browsing and adding products

When you enter the EPOS section you see the products you have listed along with any browse categories you have set up.

Add products manually by browsing or searching by name and tapping Add, or automatically add a product to the cart by scanning its barcode. Tapping the i icon takes you to the product detail page.

Tap the basket icon to proceed to checkout, or continue adding products first.

Checking out

Once your cart is complete, choose a payment method:

Card payment — A confirmation prompt appears asking you to confirm that payment has been taken by other means. Tap Confirm to complete the order, or Cancel to cancel it. After cancelling you can abandon the order, adjust items, or change the payment method.

Cash payment — This automatically marks the order as paid and displays an order confirmation.

The completed order appears in the Orders section of the app and in the EPOS channel.

Orders are placed under the user logged into EPOS.

EPOS orders are standard orders and go through your shipping rules. If this causes confusion, set up a dummy shipping method (for example, "Shop Sale") and a shipping rule to direct all EPOS channel orders to that method.
