StoreFeeder App - Pickwave stock problem option
Overview
This article explains the stock problem option available when picking a pickwave in the StoreFeeder app. This feature is available for multi-stock accounts only.
Report a stock problem
If the required quantity of a product is not physically available in the pick bin, use the stock problem option to handle the shortfall.
While picking a pickwave, open the three-dot menu in the top right of the screen.

Enter how many units you can pick. If stock is available in other pick bins, an updated pickwave is regenerated automatically.

What happens next
If the pickwave is regenerated, the currently displayed pick may change position. The original product pick could now appear further along in the pickwave due to the location order of the pick bins.

- If stock cannot be found elsewhere, the most recent orders requiring the missing quantity are removed from the pickwave. User messages and admin emails are sent to notify the team of the problem.
To prevent other pickwaves from hitting the same issue, the affected pick bin is marked with a warning. The warning is visible on the product's additional information page for the associated location.

- The pick bin with the warning is placed last when calculating new pickwaves until a stock take is completed on that product and location.
The warning is removed once a stock take for the pick bin is approved or rejected on the stock take approvals screen. From that point, the pick bin is used with its normal location order.
