StoreFeeder App - Deliveries
Overview
This guide explains how to use the Deliveries section of the StoreFeeder app to book in deliveries directly.

Booking in a delivery
When you enter the Deliveries section, either enter a PO number from the StoreFeeder PO section or scan an item from the delivery. Scanning an item brings up all open purchase orders that contain that SKU so you can select the correct one.
Either way, the Book In screen opens. Four tabs at the top of the screen show the progress of the book-in process for this PO. Each tab lists the lines at that status.
Within a tab you can see individual item details, the quantity ordered, the quantity received, and the suggested stock location.
Adding quantities
You have two ways to record received stock:
- Use the + / - buttons or type the quantity into the entry box.
- Scan the product barcodes one at a time — each scan increments the count. This is useful for mixed boxes, as you do not need to sort products before booking in.
Confirming put-away locations
After counting a batch of items, scan the location you are putting them into. You can do this iteratively:
- Scan product A three times, then scan location 1-A to confirm three units placed there.
- Scan product B five times, then scan location 1-B to confirm put-away.
- Scan products C (three units) and D (four units), then scan location 1-C to put all seven into it.
Options when not scanning a location
If you are not scanning a location immediately, you have three options:
Quarantine — Books scanned items into a Quarantine location for transferring out later. Useful when booking in late in the day and you want stock booked in but not available for sale overnight.
Goods In — Books scanned items into a Goods In location for transferring out later. Great for booking all items in quickly without walking each product to its final location — book everything in, place it on a pallet, then walk the pallet around the warehouse.
Other — Books the scanned item into an individual stock location. Use this when booking in SKUs one at a time. You can accept the suggested stock location or choose your own.
When a location is selected or scanned, all product lines with a quantity to book in are processed and move to the next status tab (for example, from Not Started to In Progress). Once the quantity received matches the quantity ordered, the line moves to the Complete tab. Overbooked means you have received more than was ordered.
Ad hoc purchase orders
If you scan a product and there is no open PO for that SKU, the app asks if you want to create an ad hoc PO to book the stock in.

Tap Yes, select the supplier the stock has come from, then proceed as above.
Tips and page features
- Scanning does not have to be in product order — scanning two mugs, then one BBQ, then another mug counts three mugs and one BBQ.
- The confirmation summary toggle at the top of the page shows an alert with details of what is about to be booked in. You can confirm or cancel. This is an optional safety step.
- If you use carton barcodes and quantities in the Supplier section of StoreFeeder, scan the carton barcode to book in the full carton quantity in one scan.
