StoreFeeder App - EPOS (Setup)
Overview
This guide explains how to set up the EPOS feature in the StoreFeeder app before first use.
Note: EPOS is not included in the standard StoreFeeder subscription. Contact the Sales team for a demo or trial.
Setting up the channel and stock locations
Add a new EPOS integration and name it as you wish. At this stage you can apply permissions to all users or configure them later.

The EPOS channel must be linked to a warehouse zone to control which products appear in the app. Create a warehouse zone before continuing.

Once your warehouse zone is set up, add stock locations to house your products. You have two options:
- EPOS connected to your warehouse — Use standard stock locations so EPOS and warehouse orders share the same stock.
- EPOS as a separate shop — Use Quarantined stock locations so normal e-commerce orders cannot draw from your shop stock.
Stock is always taken from the location with the lowest location order in the zone, regardless of whether it is quarantined. Only EPOS orders can allocate stock from quarantined locations, and only within the same zone as the EPOS store.
Create the stock locations inside the warehouse zone and assign your products to them.
Transfer stock into those locations:
- Single stock location customers — Use a bulk product update to update the pickbin field.
- Multiple stock location customers — Complete a transfer to move stock to the new locations.
Creating listings and mappings
Decide on the browse categories you want to appear in the app, as you will be mapping your product categories to them. These categories are used for manual browsing — in practice, most users will scan barcodes or search by SKU.
Once you have your category list, create a listing for a dummy product that includes all the categories you need using the bulk upload listing page. Type each category name and press Enter, then click Upload Products.

Go back into your EPOS integration and map your product categories to your EPOS categories. Click Add Mapping for each one, select the StoreFeeder product category and the corresponding EPOS category, then click Confirm.

Return to the bulk upload listing page and list your items in bulk. The mappings you created will automatically apply the correct categories to most products. Adjust prices and add or remove categories as needed, then click Upload Products.

Your listings appear under the new EPOS channel. You can now delete the dummy listing by hovering over it and selecting Delete.

Adding user permissions
Add permissions for any users who need EPOS access.
- Channel permissions control who can see orders on the website.
- Mobile App EPOS permissions control who can access the EPOS feature in the app.

You are now ready to use EPOS. Refer to the EPOS (Usage) article to get started.
