Overview
This article explains how to configure the StoreFeeder app to recognise input from your device's scanner, after you have applied the device-level settings for your PDA model.
Configure the scanner in the app
- Log in to the app and open the main menu.
Go to Settings.

Select the option that matches your setup:
- On Device Scanner Configuration — use this if you are using a PDA with a built-in scanner, or a mobile phone using its camera to capture barcodes.
- Bluetooth Scanner Configuration — use this if a Bluetooth device (such as a laser scanning cradle or finger scanner) is connected to the PDA or mobile phone.

On Device Scanner Configuration
Select On Device Scanner Configuration, then select I have updated the settings.

Scan a barcode that outputs
12345678. A barcode is provided below — print it and scan if your device cannot scan from a screen.
You can also print the barcode directly from the app by selecting Print Barcode.

- Select I am ready to scan. The prompt at the bottom of the screen asks you to scan barcode
12345678. Scan the barcode now. - A message at the bottom of the screen confirms Scanner configured successfully and the app returns to the homepage. You are now ready to use the app.
Bluetooth Scanner Configuration
Select Bluetooth Scanner Configuration and follow the on-screen instructions.

- Select your device from the list and select Connect.
