Where to find GPSR information

Overview

This article explains where to find and enter General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR) information in StoreFeeder, including documents, regulatory information, and responsible person data.

Setting up the manufacturer

GPSR requires a manufacturer to be set for each product. To configure this, set the Is Manufacturer toggle to true on the supplier's edit page:

Products > Suppliers > Edit/View Supplier

This page also includes a contact email field for GPSR uploads. If left blank, StoreFeeder uses the supplier email address instead.

If you are using a kit product or a product linked to more than one supplier with the manufacturer toggle enabled, StoreFeeder uses the supplier with the higher priority. You can also set the manufacturer directly in the Regulatory Information tab if the priority ordering does not suit your product setup.

Entering GPSR data on a product

All GPSR-related fields can be found in the Documents, Regulatory Information, and Responsible Person tabs within the Edit Product screen.

Documents — Store important product documents such as instruction manuals, safety information, and certificates of compliance.

Regulatory Information — Enter the product's energy efficiency and hazmat data needed for shipping regulated items such as paint, batteries, and electrical products. You can also attach energy efficiency documentation here.
