Overview
This article explains how to use the Bulk Inventory Update feature in StoreFeeder to update product inventory in bulk via file import or by searching individual SKUs.
Before you begin
Inventory cannot be updated through the Product Import/Export feature. All inventory adjustments must be made on the Bulk Inventory Update page.
Go to Products > Bulk Inventory Update to access this feature.

Updating product inventory by file import
- On the File Import tab, select Select File... and choose your spreadsheet.
Supported file types are .XLSX, .XLS, and .csv.
- Map the Inventory and SKU columns in your spreadsheet to the matching fields in StoreFeeder. Fields that match exactly are mapped automatically. Select any unmapped fields from the corresponding drop-down.
- Select Confirm Mappings.

Choose an import type:
- Absolute — Replaces the current inventory with the value from the spreadsheet. For example: current inventory is 5, import value is 10, new inventory is 10.
- Adjustment — Adds the spreadsheet value to the current inventory. For example: current inventory is 5, import value is 10, new inventory is 15.

- Select Confirm Import to start the update.
A message appears when the import is complete, indicating whether it was successful and listing any errors with line numbers.

Updating product inventory by SKU
- Go to the Update By SKU tab.
- Select an Adjustment Type (Adjustment or Absolute Adjustment).
- Search for products by SKU, EAN, Name, or Manufacturer Name.
- For each product you want to update, enter the amount in the New Inventory field and add a reason in the Reason field.

- Select Update to apply the changes.
