Overview

This article explains how to force an inventory update for specific listings by exporting and re-importing them with a CSV file. This method is useful when you want to push inventory updates without enabling the Upload Listings option on the integration.

Before you begin

Marking every listing for an update is not recommended. The system must process all of them and tasks cannot be cancelled once started. Only select the listings you actually need to update.

Forcing an inventory update

  1. Go to Listings using the navigation bar.
  2. Use the channel filter to select the channel you want to update. You can only update one channel at a time.
  3. Tick the listings you want to update, then select Export.
  1. In the export popup, keep the default options selected, also tick Max Inventory, then select Export. An Excel file downloads to your computer.
  2. Go to Listings > Listings Import Export and open the Import (Update Existing) tab.
  3. Set Update to channel to No.
  1. Select the downloaded file and choose the channel.
  2. Set Skip Blank Fields to No, then select Import.

StoreFeeder processes the inventory update for the selected listings on the next scheduled inventory update run. Timing varies by channel but is typically 15-30 minutes.
