Overview

StoreFeeder allows you to modify your actual inventory figures before sending them to a channel. This lets you list more or fewer units than you physically hold, and helps prevent oversells.

The available mechanisms are:

  • Oversell Amount
  • Max Inventory
  • Out of Stock Threshold
  • Inventory Type
  • Inventory Percentage

Oversell

Use Oversell Amount when you want to report more stock to a channel than you physically hold — for example, if you can quickly restock a popular item from a supplier.

Enter the number of additional units you want added on top of your physical stock for that listing.

Max inventory

Max Inventory sets an upper limit on the stock figure StoreFeeder reports to a channel.

While your physical stock exceeds the Max Inventory figure, StoreFeeder reports the Max Inventory figure to the channel. Once physical stock falls below the Max Inventory figure, StoreFeeder reports your actual stock level.

Out of stock threshold

Out of Stock Threshold lets you reserve a quantity of stock. When your physical stock falls below this threshold, StoreFeeder reports your stock to the channel as zero.

Inventory type

Inventory Type controls how StoreFeeder calculates the total stock figure it sends to the channel by combining different sources.

Inventory + Oversell

Uses the product's physical stock plus any Oversell Amount you have set. If Oversell Amount is zero, this is equivalent to using the product's inventory alone.

Inventory + Oversell + Priority Supplier Inventory

Includes the stock held by your default (priority) supplier for that product, in addition to your physical stock and any Oversell Amount.

Inventory + Oversell + Sum of Suppliers Inventory

Adds the stock from all suppliers linked to the product, in addition to your physical stock and any Oversell Amount.
