Adding Responsible People (GPSR)

Overview

This article explains how to add and manage Responsible People in StoreFeeder as part of General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR) compliance.

Adding responsible people to StoreFeeder

1. Go to Settings > Misc > Responsible People to view the list of registered responsible people.

1. Select Add New to register a new responsible person. Enter a reference to help distinguish people with similar names. There is no mandated referencing system for GPSR — starting from 1 is recommended.

Use the Delete option to remove any responsible people you no longer need.

Assigning responsible people to products

1. Go to Edit Product > Responsible Person. The list shows all people currently assigned to this product (empty by default).
2. Use Add New to create a new responsible person and assign them to this product.
3. Use Search to find an existing responsible person registered in StoreFeeder and assign them to this product.

Importing and exporting responsible people

When exporting product information, all responsible person fields are available to export:

Important: Responsible people can be linked to multiple products and are not stored directly on the product. When importing, you can only reference an existing responsible person — you cannot create new responsible people or update existing ones via import.

To link an existing responsible person to a product through import, map their reference to the Responsible Person - Reference field in your import file.
