Task 5 — Add additional users
Overview
This article explains how to create additional users in StoreFeeder and how to configure their permissions.
Every person in your organisation who needs access to StoreFeeder requires a separate login. Separate logins enable traceability of actions and allow you to give each user a personalised, authorised view of the system.
Creating new users
Your first user is created from your sign-up information. To create additional users:
- Navigate to Settings > Company > Users. You see a list of existing users.
- Click the New User button in the top left.

- Enter the new user's email address (this is their username in StoreFeeder and where their welcome email is sent) and confirm the address.
- Enter the user's name in the New User field.
- Click Save.
StoreFeeder sends a welcome email to the address provided with instructions for creating a password.

Once the user has created a password, they can log in to StoreFeeder.
User permissions
User permissions control which areas of the system each user can access, and are configured on a per-user basis.
- Go to Settings (top right corner).

- Click the Company tab on the left, then select Users.

- Click Edit/View User next to the user you want to configure.

- Click the User Permissions tab on the left. Check or uncheck the General Permissions boxes to control which pages of StoreFeeder the user can access.
- Click Save.

Warehouse permissions
The Warehouse Permissions tab lets you restrict which warehouses — and therefore which products and orders — are visible to the user. Click Save after making changes.

Channel permissions
The Channel Permissions tab lets you control which channels, and their associated sales figures, orders, and listings, the user can see. Check or uncheck as required, then click Save.

To apply permission changes, ask the user to log out and log back in to StoreFeeder.
Difference between regular users and admin users
StoreFeeder supports two user roles: Admin and User.
Admin users
Admin users have full access to all parts of the software. They can:
- Set user, channel, and warehouse permissions for all users
- Set up printers on the account

Regular users
Regular users only have access to their own printer settings and default page size. They can:
- Set up printers on the account
