Overview

This guide covers how to map Magento 2 product attributes in StoreFeeder so that product fields are kept in sync with your Magento website.

Mapping Magento 2 attributes

  1. Edit your Magento integration in StoreFeeder and select Manage Attributes on the left-hand side.
  1. Select Import Attributes to ensure all your Magento attributes are loaded.
  2. From the Magento Attribute drop-down, select the attribute you want to map. From the Mapping Attribute drop-down, select the corresponding StoreFeeder field. Select Add Mapping.

On listing upload, StoreFeeder will send the mapped field value as the Magento attribute.

Updating attributes on listings

Attributes are stored against products, not listings. To update an attribute on a listing:

  1. Go to the product the listing is mapped to.
  2. Edit the product field that controls the attribute and save the product.
  3. Open the listing in StoreFeeder and use Save and Upload to push the change to the channel.

Updating attributes in bulk

To update attributes across many listings:

  1. Run a product export and import to update product data. See the product import/export guide for details.
  2. Run a listing import for all listings you want to update. See the listing import/export guide for details.

Bulk updates only work if Upload Listings is enabled. If this setting has been disabled for a long time, consider redownloading your listings before re-enabling it to avoid overwriting outdated data. Make sure others in your business are aware, as all changes will need to be made from StoreFeeder once this is turned on.
