Setting User Permissions
Overview
User Permissions control which areas of StoreFeeder each user can access. Permissions are set per user and cover general access, warehouse visibility, and channel visibility.
Before you begin
You must be an admin user to edit user permissions. If you need to create a new user first, see the Creating a New User article.
Edit user permissions
- Click Settings in the top right corner.

- Click the Company tab on the left, then select Users from the dropdown.

- Find the user you want to update and click Edit/View User.

- Click the User Permissions tab on the left. The General Permissions section lists the pages the user can access. Check or uncheck boxes as needed.
- Click Save when done.

If you have access to the StoreFeeder app, you can also edit app permissions on this same page.

Warehouse permissions
The Warehouse Permissions tab lets you restrict which warehouses (and associated products and orders) are visible to the user. Click Save after making changes.

Channel permissions
The Channel Permissions tab controls which channels (and associated sales figures, orders, and listings) the user can see. Check or uncheck as required, then click Save.

For permission changes to take effect, ask the user to log out and log back in to StoreFeeder.
Admin vs regular users
Admin users
Admin users have full access to all parts of StoreFeeder. They can:
- Set user, channel, and warehouse permissions for all users
- Set up printers on their account

Regular users
Regular users can only access the pages and channels permitted by their settings. They can:
- Set up printers on their account
