Misc -> FTP Details (FTP Dropshipment Setup)
Overview
This article explains how to set up FTP drop shipment for your suppliers in StoreFeeder. Drop shipment over FTP sends order files directly to a supplier's FTP server.
Note: Ensure you comply with all marketplace guidelines and policies when processing dropship orders.
If you want to set up automatic stock updates via FTP (rather than drop shipments), see the Automated Supplier Stock Imports (FTPs) article instead.
Set up FTP details
- Go to Settings > Misc > FTP Details.

- Click + New FTP Details.
- Give the FTP configuration a name so you can identify which supplier it belongs to.
- Enter the FTP Host (URL or IP address), Username, and Password.
- Save the FTP details.
Configure the supplier to use FTP
- Go to the supplier you want to set up and change the Export Template type to FTP.

- Additional FTP fields appear. Fill in the fields relevant to your setup, such as the file name and the target folder on the FTP server. Fields left blank result in files being uploaded to the root folder of the FTP.
Not all fields need to be completed. For example, if you do not want to generate and send labels to your supplier, you can leave the FTP Import Label Printed File Location field empty.
If you are unsure which fields apply to your setup, contact the support team.
Request a custom template
Once your FTP details and supplier settings are configured, contact the StoreFeeder support team. A custom export template is required so that StoreFeeder sends the correct fields in the format your supplier expects. Where possible, provide an example file from your supplier showing the expected format.
