Overview

StoreFeeder lets you control how long customer data is stored against orders and can automatically remove or anonymise data based on your criteria. This can be configured account-wide or per channel.

Note for Amazon sellers: Amazon requires sellers using third-party software to delete or anonymise customer data associated with Amazon orders after 30 days.

Access data retention settings

Go to Settings, then click Data Management > Data Retention in the left navigation.

Account-wide data retention

The Account Data Retention Settings section applies to all orders across all channels.

Two options are available:

  • Anonymise Customer Data After: After the specified number of days, personal information is removed from orders but the order record remains in StoreFeeder.
  • Delete Order Data After: After the specified number of days, orders are deleted from StoreFeeder entirely.

To configure:

  1. Enter the number of days in the days field for each option you want to enable.
  2. Switch the toggle to On for each option.
  3. Click Save.

Channel-specific data retention

The Channel Data Retention Overrides section lets you set different retention rules for individual channels.

  1. Click Add Channel Override.
  1. In the Channel field, start typing the channel name and select it from the list. You can add more than one channel.
  2. Set the number of days for anonymisation or deletion, following the same steps as for account-wide settings.
  3. Click Add Channel Override.

The override appears under the Channel Data Retention Overrides section.
