Setting exchange rates in StoreFeeder

Overview

This article explains how to set exchange rates in StoreFeeder, including automatic rates, overhead percentages, and manual overrides.

Add an exchange rate

1. Go to Settings > Misc. > Exchange Rate.
2. Click New Exchange Rate.

1. Select the currency pair from the Exchange dropdown and click Add Exchange Rate.

1. On the Edit Exchange Rate page, you can see the current rate and the date it was last updated. Enter an Overhead Percentage if applicable, then click Save.

Automatic exchange rates are updated daily around 4pm from https://openexchangerates.org/.

Set a manual exchange rate

If you purchase currency at a fixed rate for a period, you can override the automatic rate.

1. On the Edit Exchange Rate page, check the Override exchange rate checkbox.

1. Enter your rate in the Manual Rate field. Use several decimal places for precision.
2. Click Save.

Exchange rates are applied to orders at the point of import. Changing or removing a rate does not affect historic orders.
