Email Settings
Overview
StoreFeeder can send automated email notifications to customers as their order progresses through fulfilment. This article explains how to configure email settings for each Company Identity.
Access email settings
Go to Settings > Email Configuration > Email Settings.
You see your default company or a list of company identities if you have more than one.
If you have not set up a Company Identity email yet, click + New Email Setting to create one.

Select a Company Identity and click Edit/View Settings.
SMTP settings

Enter your SMTP settings so StoreFeeder can send emails on your behalf. You can find these details in your email client's configuration.
Gmail authorisation
From 30 September 2024, Gmail no longer supports SMTP connections. If you use Gmail, you must use this option instead.
- Change the Email Type to Google.
- Click Authorise and follow the prompts on the Google authorisation page.

- Ensure the Send email on your behalf permission checkbox is checked.

You can remove StoreFeeder's Gmail access at any time using the Revoke button. Revocation can take up to an hour to take effect on Google's side.
Click Test Settings at any time to verify StoreFeeder can connect.
Customer notification preferences
The Company Identity Profile Preferences section controls which order statuses trigger an email notification to your customers.

Switch each toggle to On to enable notifications for that status:
- Complete (Ready to Pick): Notifies the customer the order has been accepted and is being processed.
- Assigned: Triggers when the order moves into a pick wave, notifying the customer it is being picked and packed.
- Despatched Status: Notifies the customer their order has been despatched.
- Shipped by Supplier: For non-Amazon orders shipped by a supplier.
- Shipped by Amazon: For Amazon orders shipped by the supplier.
- Returned: Notifies the customer their return has been accepted.
Note: The Shipped by Supplier and Shipped by Amazon options only become available when Despatched Status is set to On.
Click Save when done.
