This article explains how to set up and use StoreFeeder Print Assist, the desktop client that enables automatic printing directly from StoreFeeder.

Before you begin

Download and install the Print Assist client before completing these steps. See the Print Assist Setup article for installation instructions.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Printing > Print Assist Setup.

A confirmation message appears when the account has been created. Keep note of your credentials as you will need them during the Print Assist installation. You can request a password reset at any time using the link on the page.

Step 2: Enable Print Assist

Once the client is installed, switch the Print Assist toggle to On and click Save.

Step 3: Connect your printers

After enabling Print Assist, printer icons appear at the top of the screen.

  1. Use the dropdown menus to select the appropriate printer for each type. Any printer connected to your computer physically or via network appears in the list.
  2. Configure the following options:

    • Printing Enabled: Set to On to activate Print Assist. You can toggle this at any time.
    • Silent Print: When set to On, documents print automatically without a preview. When set to Off, you always see a preview before printing.
  3. Click Save when done.

The icons at the top of the screen update to reflect which printers are connected. A green On symbol means that printer type is ready; a red minus symbol means it has not been set up.

Note: Printer settings are saved per computer and user. Your previous printer settings are restored automatically when you log into a machine. This means each computer in your warehouse or office can stay connected to the correct printers.

To test your setup, use the Test Printing links on the Print Assist Setup page to send a test page to each printer type individually.
