Why has my order generated more than the required amount of labels?
Overview
This article explains why an order might generate more shipping labels than expected and how to fix it.
Cause
The most common cause is incorrectly configured packaging sizes. If packaging dimensions or weight thresholds are set too small, the courier integration may split the shipment into multiple packages and generate a label for each.
Fix
- Check that your packaging sizes are set up correctly. See the Packaging Sizes article for guidance.
- Verify that the correct packaging size is assigned to the product in StoreFeeder.
Assigning a packaging size to a product
In StoreFeeder go to Products > Manage Products and select the product you wish to assign packaging sizes to. Inside the product select 'Shipping & Handling'
Tip: Tip If you are inside an order where this issue has occurred, you can simply click the product SKU to bring up the same screen.

From here we want to look at the 'Packaging size' and 'Packaging Quantity' options. Select the package size applicable to the product from the drop down menu, once this has been done enter the quantity of product this packaging size could contain.

So the screenshot above would mean that 3 of this product could fit inside my packaging size of parcel.
