Creating Drop Shipments
Overview
This article explains how to create and manage drop shipment orders in StoreFeeder. A drop shipment sends an order directly from your supplier to your customer rather than through your own warehouse.
Before you begin
You must set up your drop shipper as a supplier in StoreFeeder before you can create drop shipments.
Note: Creating a drop shipment is not a fully automated process. Ensure you adhere to all marketplace guidelines and policies when processing dropship orders.
Creating a drop shipment from an individual order
- Navigate to the order and click Edit.
- Scroll down to the Items Ordered section.
- Use the checkbox next to each item to select the line items you want to drop ship.
- Click Create Drop Shipment.

- Select the supplier from the dropdown list.
- Click New Drop Shipment.

- Review the information on the Create Drop Shipment page — delivery address, ordered product details, and supplier address.
- Click Save Drop Shipment.
To send the drop shipment to your supplier immediately, click Send To Supplier in the top right of the page instead.

After saving, you are returned to the Edit Order page. A confirmation message confirms the drop shipment was created, and the order status changes to Drop Shipment.

Sending and confirming a drop shipment
To view your drop shipments, click Products and select Drop Shipments from the menu.

To send the shipment to your supplier, click Send Drop Shipment.

A confirmation message appears and the order status changes to Sent to Supplier.

Once your supplier confirms despatch, click into the relevant drop shipment reference and click Mark Drop Shipment as Despatched. The order status changes to Shipped by Supplier and an update is sent to the channel.

Note: It is not possible to mark more than one drop shipment as sent at a time.
