Creating an eBay listing for a variant product
Overview
This article explains how to create an eBay listing for a variation product in StoreFeeder.
Before you begin
You must have already created a variation product in StoreFeeder before listing it on eBay.
Create an eBay variant listing
- Select Listings in the left menu and select the green New Listing button.

- Select eBay as the channel.

The listing page opens with details pre-filled from your product: the product name becomes the Title, the SKU becomes the Listing SKU, and the product price is used as the Price. You can change any of these.

Key listing fields
Subtitle — Optional text shown below the title on eBay. Up to 55 characters. Adding a subtitle incurs an extra listing fee with eBay.
Item ID — Generated when you upload the listing. Do not change an existing Item ID — doing so orphans the listing and StoreFeeder will no longer update stock or orders for it.
Max Inventory — Caps the inventory shown regardless of actual stock. For example, if set to 5 with 10 in StoreFeeder, the listing shows 5 until actual stock drops below 5.
Oversell — Lets you show more inventory than you physically have. Useful when you can fulfil quickly from a reliable supplier.
Out Of Stock Threshold — Ends the listing when your StoreFeeder inventory reaches this value.
Price — The price shown on eBay. Enable Link To Product Price to keep this in sync with the product price automatically.
Configure variations
Go to the Variations tab to set up your variant options (e.g. Size, Colour). Each variation must have its own price, quantity, and any required item specifics filled in.

Once all variations are configured, save and upload the listing to eBay.
