Amazon Colour Map Validation

Overview

This article explains the Amazon Colour Map Validation error and lists the accepted colour values required to resolve it.

Cause

When saving and uploading a listing to Amazon, you may see:

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation

This occurs when colour is used as a variant identifier and one or more colour values are not on Amazon's approved colour map. Amazon requires colour values to match the allowed list exactly, including US spellings.

Fix

Update any colour values on your variant listing to use one of the allowed values below. Amazon is case-sensitive — use the exact capitalisation shown.
