Transitioning Parcelforce Services to Your Royal Mail Integration

Overview

On 11th August 2025, Parcelforce services will no longer require a separate integration in StoreFeeder. Instead, they will become available directly through your existing Royal Mail (RM) integration, once activated on your Royal Mail OBA account.

What You Need to Know

No immediate action is required from you right now.

This change is dependent on two key steps:

  • Activation of the change by Royal Mail/Parcelforce.
  • Activation of Parcelforce services on your Royal Mail OBA account by Royal Mail.

Once these are complete, you’ll be able to use Parcelforce via the Royal Mail integration in StoreFeeder.

What You’ll Need to Do (Once Live)

  1. Add New Shipping Methods
  • Log into StoreFeeder.
  • Navigate to your Royal Mail integration settings.
  • Add new shipping methods for the Parcelforce services that have now appeared.
  1. Update Your Shipping Rules
  • Adjust your existing shipping rules to use the newly added Parcelforce methods.
  • This will ensure orders are dispatched using the correct services.
  1. Remove the Old Integration (Optional)
  • Since Parcelforce services will now be managed under Royal Mail, you may choose to remove the old, separate Parcelforce integration (if no longer needed).

What Will Change in StoreFeeder

  • Parcelforce services will now appear under your Royal Mail integration, rather than in a separate Parcelforce integration panel.
  • No other StoreFeeder functionality is changing, just where these services are accessed.
  • After transitioning to PF through RM, you will now need to start manifesting your PF shipments in SF. Here is a link on how to manifest: How to Manifest your Pickwaves

Important Note

The existing Parcelforce integration and shipping methods will continue to work in the short term, so you do not have to do this immediately. You can create the new shipping methods, while still using the old ones.
