Error messages when performing actions?

Occasionally when performing actions in your Xero setup pages. Depending on your account level in StoreFeeder you may see one or more error messages that appear at the top of the screen. A few reasons for this can be

  • Your integration has become unlinked
  • There are communication issues between StoreFeeder and Xero
  • The system may be down for maintenance.

These messages are usually descriptive of the issue causing the problem and often it's worth waiting for a while and trying again. This will often fix temporary issues with communication.

Monitoring the integration

On the integration page we also provide you with another tab to let you know of any issues with updates due to errors returned by Xero. This will usually be things like totals not matching up or restrictions of using certain codes with accounts.

Again these errors should be descriptive enough for you to be able to troubleshoot and make any necessary changes

You can find this on the errors tab as shown below

The final column on that page indicates if the error is an exception. This will mean that something has gone wrong and you will need to contact out support team so they can investigate.
