Mark products as 'not for restocking'
Scenario being: you have a lot of products, and product ranges come and go very quickly. When it comes to order, at the moment you have to make a call on each line by identifying sales history, whether a product has been reduced, when it was last stocked etc etc... makes the order process very long.
During daily operation we identify products that are not selling, ones that we need to reduce to clear etc, so it would be useful if each product had a checkbox to say 'do not restock' or similar. Then when we come to order, it can be flagged in some way, so we don't order by mistake or have to research that product to see if we still need to buy stock.
This would save a huge amount of time and potentially money.

Just set the manual reorder level to "0". Does this not amount to the same thing?

It would be useful if this was not a set flag, but a small field which could be uploaded. A bit like pick bin.Things like supplier minimum quantity, order in 6's, only order for Xmas etc. could then be visible on PO. Further to this - If a product is flagged as "do not restock" then it should not be visible when raising a PO. This would make it far easier to see what is really needed.
Hi Matt, We added a feature that lets you "archive" products and this feature is exactly for this scenario, items that are seasonal that you don't want to order or items you're no longer stocking. You can archive a product by going into the product and pressing the button to archive it, through the products grid by ticking the product and using the bulk actions to bulk archive product or through a product import.
