Cancel and order and +1 or -1 to inventory.
It would be handy sometimes after an order is cancelled if you could then select to add back to stock or prevent adding to stock.
sometimes if we are out of stock and we cancel an order it sometimes re adds +1 and it sells again...
also sometimes when a customer cancels the order the item doesn't get re added...
usually the opposite to what you want !
so would be handy if its cancelled to then decide what you'd like to do ....

Team·almost 8 years agoHi, We recently added a new order status called "Cancelled - Stock Allocated" that will let you achieve this! If you use Cancelled by customer or client it will put the stock from that order back into your products but if you use cancelled stock allocated it will leave all the stock allocated against the order and not affect your stock levels again so if you oversell and cancel the order with that status it will prevent the stock from the order from going back onto the product. Could we add an Order Status option of "Cancelled as Out Of Stock" and this automatically Zeroes stock. We have the same problem as the original post but we go into the Product and Zero stock from there which is only 1 more click than the suggested solution here.
