Automatically suggest orders to merge

We often get multiple orders from customers at the same time which can be dispatched together to save on postage costs. At the moment we sort orders which are "complete ready to pick" by postcode and scan down the list and manually search for orders from the same customers which can be merged and posted together. Would be handy if Storefeeder automatically suggested orders that could be merged (based on matching postcode , customer name, buyer ID, etc). I think it's important to only "suggest" orders to merge rather than automatically merge though. Danny

Hi, Sam is right we do have an option to automatically merge orders but as it seems the original request wants to not do this automatically I can forward this onto the team to see if there's anything we can do. Also Pawel, the reason we don't merge in those occasions is because we cannot make the decision on what postage should be applied in the cases where it doesn't match. (Because depending what they've chosen it could cost you more - and they've not paid for it for both parcels- if we upgrade because the postage weight). Thank you, The Storefeeder Team

But does it merge orders if customer buy item 1 with free 2nd class and item 2 with free 1st class delivery? I don't think so.

Hi, this is already active we use it and is very handy, its under Settings > Integration > Select Edit the integration (Such as eBay, Amazon etc) > and is on the bottom left of the page under 'Merge Order' (Section 3). Thanks, Sam
