Returns Management via Storefeeder App

We would like to be able to process customer returns via the Storefeeder App so items could be scanned in rather than having to update via Storefeeder.

PDA App login by Pin number

PDA's have a little screen and often little keyboards and logging in with email address and hopefully a long complicated password is not the easiest and often leads to mistypes or worse saved passwords. Use of a 4 or 6 digit pin number to login would make the process simpler and less likely to resort to system saved PW's and ID's. Also help stop users using others ID's when they are saved.

Scan location - make skus in order

When you scan a location on the app, it brings up all the skus in that location. However, it doesn't bring the products up in sku order. We have some small items that are stored in sku order inside a box that's allocated to a single location. When working at location level, it's hard to find the item you want to work on on the scanner, as it's not in any particular order.

Beta App Access

In the play store we are able to have a beta program which means you are able to see updates before they go to general release. If you opt into this feature you will need to set up a new google account solely for the beta. We recommend you use this account on 2 devices so you can test all areas of the app. Limiting to 2 devices means that if there are any widespread issues with compatibility of a certain model then it wont affect your day to day business as the majority of your devices will remain on the stable live version. Please log a support ticket with the new google account requesting access to the App Beta. We recommend a factory reset of the test devices and setting up the app from scratch with the new beta account to rule out any inconsistancies.

As in the title. I could use our handset to scan items in the warehouse and change the "Manual re-order level". I can already change weights / packaging sizes etc.

Ability to relocate SKUs in bulk on the app by scanning (either bay or list of products)

We know we can do this on the computer by making a note of SKUs to move, but when stock taking or relocating SKUs to a new location it would be great if you could scan a whole bay barcode, or scan a list of products to move to new location in bulk from the app.

Changing the stages of picking flow

It would be nice to have the flow of picking either changed or swappable. If you would like to scan the location and tote the current setup is not very friendly for locations higher up. E.g you have to go up a ladder to scan the location and come back down to scan the tote then back up to grab the product and scan. It would be good if scanning the tote was the last stage or could be changed to if wanted as its the most logical place to put it once you are about to place the product in a tote anyway and it would save your legs in the higher locations.

Option to view "Product Special Attribute" when booking in deliveries. This would enable staff booking in deliveries, to see if the item is needed elsewhere (for example, new product, needs to go to the office for listing).

App: Add a transfer button to the product within picking

A request from our WM: He would like to have an easy way to create a transfer for a product from within the picking section of the app. Background: We store items in pick bins and bulk locations. The bulk locations are pallets high up in the racking. When the pick bins are empty we need to "pick" from these bulk locations. As this is a separate task to be done by a forklift driver we create a separate pickwave, whereby we're picking a quantity off the pallets high up. When we drop the pallet down, we will then transfer some (or all) of the remaining stock to refill the pick bin. To do this currently you have to come out of the pickwave, and go to a separate transfers page to create the transfer, then you have to go back to your pickwave. It would be easier if there was a way to go directly to creating a transfer for this item.

The ability to create a PO by scanning the products via app. So you can walk around a warehouse, looking at product and know you need to put an item on a PO, simply do this from the app by scanning the product and adding to a PO.

Photos of product packaging on picking app

I'd love to be able to set a "product packaging photo" via the app, which will allow us to take a quick snap in the warehouse (on the Android scanners) so we can record what the packaging looks like. This photo then gets displayed on the app when the user is picking - it currently shows a photo of the product itself, but if that product is in a box, then the photo is pretty useless. This could be something that's done as part of the booking in process, where it notifies the user that no product packaging photo exists, and asks them to snap one there and then. It could also be done when picking (if wanted), and the user should be able to update the photo in case the packaging has changed etc. This would be a great help when looking for a product that's lost, or for any new users who aren't familiar with the range.

Negative and Neutral feedback notifcation was an extremely useful feature in Marketworks & ChannelAdvisor when we used their products more than 15 years ago.
