Automatically allow Irish addresses with no postcode

When we scan orders from Ireland, if there is no postcode we get an error and have been told just to put a '-' in. Fine for one or two orders, but when you have 100's of them it get's a little annoying. Could we change the Royal Mail integration so that if it's an order for Ireland, then no postcode is allowable. Thanks!
